I wonder if it works like the old auto safety inspections used to in Massachusetts (slip a couple of folded bills under your paperwork) .

Oh, I remember those days when we had that BS here.

My dad used to just hand his buddy at the gas station a ten and five spot and he'd get the sticker to slap on the windshield, never got any "safety inspection".

That was more stupid crap for the state to make money for nothing.

We used to have another such racket here in my city called "The Sinking Fund" which all those who owned a pickup truck or van used to have to pay into here. The only thing was it gave one the privelege of double parking on any city street at any time to load or unload the truck and not have to put money in any parking meter downtown when you had to buy their sticker to slap on the windshield.

Alright.

This car will be the two time winning Pocono 2014 car.

Let's hope that it has another win or more left in it!

I get Greg Ives selected last year's winner at Pocono but what was wrong with last years car at Vegas...  Jr was the class of the field there until "someone" blew it on the fuel call ???       Seems to me that would have been their first choice, assuming it is an option  ?????

I remember those days ....  until lawyers got involved in law suites where the inspection station was held accountable for causiing the accident.   That got the State Police in Virginia attention real quick ........

Dale says that he would like to drive for JRM one full season. Probably when he is retired. He also said "never say never" when asked if he would drive a truck race this year. Pretty neat.
